Spring 2026 E-Board

Alexandra Levine

Co – President

Alex joined SODA via a club fair when one of the past members, Riya, exclaimed that it was a great way to get involved in healthcare. From that moment on, she’s grown a fervent passion for organ donation.

Upon her first few weeks of volunteering and club meetings she learned it’s ever reaching branches in all aspects of care, and to this day she’s inspired by the stories she hears from donor families and donors themselves. Educating people on organ donation is the best part – she has big dreams for SODA to become a more interdisciplinary and well known club. The community SODA has given Alex is irreplaceable and she’s excited to see how the club can further advocate for organ and tissue donation in the future.

Gianna O’Brien

Co – President

Gianna is a fourth year student studying Health Science with a minor in Nutrition, on the pre-Physician Assistant track. She was intrigued by the SODA Northeastern table, Spring of 2023. From there on out she began going to general meetings and then volunteered at on campus event run by the Northeastern chapter.

Being in this club has opened Gianna’s eyes about how underrepresented this topic is in the healthcare field. She wants to educate those who are uninformed about how important organ donation is.

Pushing herself and the rest of the E-Board she works with brings her joy and allows herself to step away from the academic world. She hopes to continue to spread the word about organ donation and get others around Northeastern to share her aspirations.

Danny Berkow

Treasurer

Danny is a third year student studying psychology on the pre-med track! He feels that being a part of SODA has been such a positive experience, while being at Northeastern. He’s excited to be the treasurer and see what he can bring.

Madeline Deluca

Secretary

Madeline is a second year student studying bioengineering. She’s from New Jersey, is an EMT, and loves the outdoors! She’s excited to start this semester and can’t wait to see what SODA does.

Ava Glavine

Recruitment Chair

Ava is a pre-med student with a health science major. She joined SODA after hearing about it from her friend Alex; after her first meeting she was hooked. SODA has taught Ava about a really important topic in health care that isn’t spoken enough.

SODA has allowed Ava to further her passion for medicine. She’s always involved herself in the community snd SODA has been the perfect source to get her involved. After immersing herself within the club, she fell in love with its mission and what it stands for.

As a member, Ava has been able to hear truly amazing stories from both donor families and donors themselves that reminds her why all of us do this work. SODA is an amazing community that educates and helps many individuals and seeing the impact we have on others is one of the many reasons Ava love it so much. She’s excited to continue to work with her fellow classmates to spread the word about SODA and grow the community.
